Polling disrupted in Akkar and Minieh-Danniyeh after election disputes

According to LBCI, polling was temporarily suspended for about 30 minutes at the public school in Qarqaf, Akkar, following a dispute between supporters of competing electoral lists.

In a separate incident, tensions also flared in the town of Sfira in the Minieh-Danniyeh district, prompting the Lebanese army to intervene and restore order.

Both incidents occurred amid ongoing municipal elections across northern Lebanon.
