Patriarch Rai from Sao Paolo: Lebanese people hold to coexistence

Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rahi said on Saturday that the Lebanese people are holding to coexistence, urging the swift formation of a new government.

Patriarch Rai's remarks came during his visit to Sao Paolo, Brazil as part of his tour to South America whereby he said that the Maronite Patriarchate will support "any electoral draft law serving the interests of all Lebanese factions."

Patriarch Rai urged the Lebanese leaders not to involve Lebanon in regional and international crisis, stressing on the importance of carrying out the parliamentary elections on their due time.
