LF MP Zahra to LBCI: LF party urges Lebanese leaders to reach "consensual draft law"

Lebanese Forces MP Antoine Zahra asserted on Saturday that Change and Reform bloc is adamant on adopting the Orthodox Gathering draft law, thus hindering any efforts made to adopt another electoral draft law.

MP Zahra noted during an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show that the country reached a deadlock, adding that the LF party always urged Lebanese leaders to reach common ground over a "consensual electoral draft law".

He added that the parties which insisted on adopting the Orthodox Gathering draft law " aimed to hold the upcoming parliamentary elections under the 1960 law."
