LF MP Keyrouz: Hybrid draft law is Lebanon’s best opportunity for political consensus

Lebanese Forces MP Elie Keyrouz said on Saturday from the parliament that the hybrid draft law is "the best opportunity to reach political consensus", adding that it garners Lebanese factions’ apt representation.

He called on Lebanese public and leaders to review the stances of the Change and Reform Bloc Leader MP Michel Aoun over the electoral laws and “notice the changes in the latter’s stances as of the 8th of September 2011 until the 15th of January 2013”.

On another note, Keyrouz said that the Syrian regime “attempted during the last two decades to eradicate Christians from Lebanon”.
