Israel’s ambassador to France: No Israeli decision yet to negotiate end of war in Lebanon

Joshua Zarka, Israel’s ambassador to France, said Tuesday that Israel is ahead of schedule in achieving its objectives in the war against Iran, including weakening the authorities to enable the Iranian people to take control of their future.

In an interview with French channel BFM TV, Zarka added that the Lebanese government has so far failed to disarm Hezbollah, and he is not aware of any Israeli decision to negotiate an end to the conflict in Lebanon.
