Spanish FM: Any Israeli ground invasion of Lebanon would be a “grave mistake”

Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares on Tuesday warned that any Israeli ground invasion of Lebanon would be a “grave mistake.”

Albares also said that Madrid had called on the Lebanese group Hezbollah to halt rocket fire toward Israel.

He added that Spain would send humanitarian aid worth €9 million ($10.5 million) to Beirut.
