March14 General Secretariat: Civil infighting is the dream of the Assad regime

March14's General Secretariat said on Wednesday that observers must have noticed by now that the security incidents taking place in Tripoli were closely linked to Hezbollah's involvement in Syria’s al-Qusayr, the state-run National News Agency reported.

The Secretariat added that residents of Tripoli should be aware that the fighting between civil groups is the “dream” of the regime of Syrian President Bachar Assad who will "cease the opportunity to justify the ‘ethnic cleansing’ perpetrated in Syria’s Banias against the Syrian people."

On another note, the bloc called on its deputies to exert efforts in a bid to hold a parliamentary General Authority session and vote in favor of a new electoral law that falls in the interest of all the Lebanese people.

In addition, the said bloc reiterated the call of Prime Minister-Designate Tammam Salam to form a new government, capable of dissociating the Lebanese internal situation from incidents taking place in Syria.
