Jouzou: Threat in the region is due to Iran’s aspirations

Mount Lebanon Mufti Cheikh Mohamed Ali Jouzou said Friday that “the biggest threat to the Arab world today is that Iran is no longer bordered by Iraq, it has rather extended to reach Syria and Lebanon which it turned into a stronghold in the heart of the Arab world.”

Jouzou said that the threat facing the region is due to Iran’s aspirations for the Arab world, adding that “Syrian President Bashar Assad’s adventures will plunge Lebanon in the abyss.”
