Israeli Army Chief of Staff says Lebanon main front, vows to deepen military operations

Eyal Zamir, Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, said Lebanon is the main front of combat for Israel, adding that the army will continue to deepen its military operations there.

Zamir said Israeli forces will press on with operations aimed at removing what he described as the direct threat to northern Israeli towns.

He also said Hezbollah has become increasingly isolated within Lebanon, as well as in its strategic environment, including from its sources of funding and weapons supply.
