Amal Movement and Hezbollah urge supporters to avoid protests amid rising tensions

The Amal Movement and Hezbollah called on their supporters to refrain from demonstrating during what they described as a critical phase for the country.

In a joint statement, the two groups expressed deep appreciation for the resilience of displaced Lebanese and the communities hosting them across the capital and other regions, as well as for fighters engaged in ongoing confrontations along border villages.

They also acknowledged the public's emotions and desire to express positions regarding current developments, but stressed that preserving stability and protecting civil peace must take priority.

The statement warned against being drawn into internal divisions, which it said would serve the interests of Israel, urging supporters to avoid protests at this sensitive time.
