Israeli army warns residents in multiple Lebanon towns to evacuate immediately

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee on Saturday issued what he described as an “urgent warning” to residents in several towns and villages in Lebanon, including Tayr Debba, Aabbasiyyeh, Borj Rahhal, Maaroub, Barich, Arzoun, Jannata, Zrariyeh, and Ain Baal.

In a statement, Adraee claimed that “in light of Hezbollah’s violation of the ceasefire agreement,” the Israeli army would “act forcefully” against the group, while insisting that the military “does not intend to harm civilians.”

The statement urged residents to evacuate their homes immediately and move at least 1,000 meters away from the towns and villages toward open areas.

Adraee also warned that “anyone near Hezbollah members, facilities, or combat equipment is putting their life at risk.”
