Aridi to LBCI: Al-Qusayr incidents are a Lebanese war on a larger scale

Caretaker Public Works Minister Ghazi Aridi said on Thursday that "the incidents that took place in Syria's al-Qusayr are considered a Lebanese war par excellence only on a 'larger scale'".

In an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show, Aridi pointed out that "Hezbollah has played a key role in shifting the balance of power on the ground in favor of the Syrian regime," adding that the control of al-Qusayr constitutes only one round of the ongoing battles between the Syrian regime and the opposition.

On another note, the Minister said that Israel is the main beneficiary of the said battles between the al-Nusra Front and the "al-Nasr Front" i.e the "front of victory', he said in reference to Hezbollah.
