Asaad to LBCI: Hezbollah member is behind the death of Hashem Salman

Head of the Option Party (Al Intimaa Al Lubnani) Ahmad Asaad said on Monday that “a member from Hezbollah was behind the death of Hashem Salman”, adding that “Lebanese Armed Forces did not take any measures in this regard”.

Asaad told LBCI during Nharkom Said that aggressors who numbered up to 300 were all dressed in black shirts.

Protesters of the Lebanese Option Party scuffled on Sunday with Hezbollah supporters near the Iranian embassy in Beirut, killing one person and leaving many others injured.

Sources told LBCI that all the wounded persons belong to the Lebanese Option Party, which is led by the March 14 Shiite politician Ahmad Asaad.

The demonstrators were holding a sit-in near the embassy in the Bir Hassan region in protest of Hezbollah's military intervention in the Syrian crisis.
