March 14's General Secretariat calls for swift formation of new government

The General Secretariat of March 14 called on President Michel Sleiman and Prime Minister-Designate Tammam Salam to 'immediately' form a new government, noting that "there's an urgent need to resolve this problem in light of the current situation in Lebanon".

Delivering the statement of March 14' General Secretariat, Future bloc MP Ammar Houry stressed that the killing of citizen Hashem Salman near the Iranian embassy "was in full view of the security apparatuses and the Lebanese Armed Forces who did not take any action to stop it".

On another note, the General Secretariat pointed out that the stance of the Gulf Cooperation Council in regards to Hezbollah's involvement in Syria "is a sign of solidarity with the Syrian people".
