In an attempt to raise awareness on the issue of "texting and driving", a Hong Kong movie theater screened an advertisement, made by Volkswagen, to their unsuspecting audience.
People who entered the hall to watch, what they thought was a new hit movie, were in for the lesson of a lifetime! The lights went off, the screen went on, a car is rolling and the spectators have the driver’s view of the road ahead. All phones, triggered by a transmitter, start ringing at once. As the audience reaches for their pockets to check their messages... The car (simulator) crashes!
This is a very symbolic way of showing what may happen to any driver while texting!
