A Selfie To Die For? Man "Kills Self" For Social Media Trend
          
21-year-old Oscar Otero Aguilar died after the gun he was taking a selfie with went off.            

The victim who was drinking at the time was with two of his friends in northern Mexico City when the incident occurred, according to the Daily Mail.          

Otero Aguilar was dead at the scene and an autopsy is scheduled.          

The Ministry of Public Security said that Otero Aguilar's death appeared to be an accident.            
The selfie was meant to go on Facebook, the Ministry added.           

Others photos of the victim depict him standing next to alcoholic beverages and sitting in or standing next to several different types of vehicles.
