On September 11, marking the say of service, US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama visited the inspired teaching school in Northeast Washington. The school kept the visit a secret, telling children that a "special guest" will be attending on Thursday. Madison, a sixth-grader was quite disappointed by this “special guest” the school had promised and told the president that she had hoped Beyoncé had shown up instead! The president replied with humor, saying his girls sometimes wish he were Beyoncé too!
