Mother Of 34 Children Seeks To Further Expand Her Family!

A mother of 34 children has given a rare insight into the daily running of her exceptional household.

Over the past 30 years, Jeane Briggs and her husband Paul, have adopted 29 children from around the world and, along with their 5 biological children, have gladly opened up their home in Falling Waters, West Virginia.

Many of the youngsters the couple had adopted suffer from serious illnesses or disabilities.

"I just enjoy it. This is my career. I say to my kids, you’re the very air I breathe so I need you, I need that oxygen," 58-year-old Mrs Briggs said.

In addition, the Briggs couple does not intend to stop welcoming children into their residence, and are devoted in particular to those who are older or hard to place because of illnesses or disabilities.

While it is highly expensive to feed such a large family - the Briggs spends an annual sum of $52,000 on groceries alone - 59-year-old Mr Briggs is lucky enough to have a very lucrative job at a credit card processing company.

Mr Briggs' employer also pays the family the amount of $10,000 for every child they adopt.
