Although Hailey Fort is only 9 years old, she manages to help the homeless and the needy more than many of us have ever done.
 
 
The young girl spends her free time building mobile shelters for the homeless, grows food for them and provides toiletries too.
​
 
At the age of 5, she asked her mother, Miranda, about helping a homeless man, Edward, she saw in Bremerton, Washington, where she lives.
Her mother agreed, and now they work together to help the needy.
 
 
Since then, Edward became her friend.
 
“I build the shelters so they don’t get rained. It just doesn’t seem right that there are homeless people,” she says.
 

God bless her soul, we say. She is truly inspirational.
