[VIDEO] Woman’s Wish to Have Her Brain Freezed Fulfilled

Battling for less-than-two-years with recurrent glioblastoma multiforme, and aggressive terminal brain cancer, 23-year-old neuroscience student Kim Suozzi passed away on January 17, 2013.

However, before her death, Kim had one final wish, to be cryopreserved.

In other terms, Kim wanted to freeze her brain in the hopes that one day it would be thawed out and brought back to life, but unfortunately, she did not have $35,000 for the procedure.

Kim did not give up; instead, she sought financial assistance from a number of organizations and societies, and ended up performing the cryopreservation process although it is still away from promising results.

“I want to be cryogenically preserved when I die from brain cancer but can’t afford it,” she wrote, “I am literally begging for financial help.”
