Wael Abbas caught in Qatar, sent to Damascus airport
Investigations are underway with Wael Abbas who is detained at the ISF General Directorate after being accused of masterminding the kidnapping of the seven Estonians under the supervision of the relevant judicial authorities. Abbas was taken to the Damascus International Airport back from Qatar where he tried to enter with a fake Venezuelan passport. In turn, the Syrian authorities handed him to the Lebanese General Security (LGS) after the Syrian GS recognized him from the photograph provided to it by the LGS following the abduction of the 7 Estonians.
