El-Araby: Failure of Arab Plan would be a disaster

Calling on Damascus to halt the “bloodshed”, the Arab League’s Secretary General Nabil el-Araby said in an official statement on Saturday that if the Arab plan fails to solve the crisis in Syria, it would have a disastrous impact in Syria and the region.     

In speaking about the Arab plan to halt violence and launch a national dialogue, el-Araby stressed the necessity of preserving Syria’s security and stability to avoid strife and foreign meddling.
