Iraqi authorities stated on Thursday that they have exhumed the remains of 470 people believed to have been killed by Islamic State members near the city of Tikrit last June.
Health Minister Adila Hammoud said the bodies had been found at several sites, adding that most of the victims are believed to have been young Shiite soldiers who were based at Camp Speicher when the military base was overrun by IS.
