The Islamic State organization has advanced in Syria, redrawing the map of the region that has been witnessing an ongoing conflict for 4 years.
In northern Syria, more specifically in Aleppo, IS has taken control over the town of Soran and its surroundings after fierce clashes with the opposition fighters and al-Nusra Front groups.
