The United States has conducted its first lethal air strike into northern Syria from a base in southern Turkey, CNN reported on Wednesday, citing two US defense officials.
Turkey last month agreed to let the United States launch strikes against Islamic State militants from an air base in Turkey that is close to the Syrian border.
