President Aoun to UN Tourism secretary-general: Lebanon remains a tourist destination as government works to develop the sector

President Joseph Aoun told Sheikha Nasser Al Nuwais, secretary-general of the United Nations Tourism Organization, that Lebanon remains a destination for Arab and foreign tourists despite the difficult circumstances it has experienced, thanks to its unique attractions.

He said the Lebanese state is working to develop the tourism sector alongside other sectors that form the pillars of the country’s economy.
