Minister Bassil from Boston: The Middle East is facing two kinds of threats
Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil left New York and headed on Sunday towards Boston where he met with a crowd of Lebanese expatriates, in the presence of the Consul General of Lebanon to NY Ambassador Majdi Ramadan and Lebanon’s Honorary Consul in Boston Ibrahim Hanna.

Minister Bassil delivered a speech whereby he said that “we are all entitled to protect Lebanon, this small country, regardless of our political and sectarian affiliations.”

The minister asserted that in order to maintain Lebanon’s equilibrium, we need to count on the Lebanese residents and expats since they complete each other.

He added that the Middle East is facing today two kinds of threats: terrorism and displacement.
