The intensified movement of Israeli jets near the Syrian-Lebanese borders did not come as a traditional training, but it holds signs proving the Israeli presence in the Syrian conflict and the renewed threat posed by what it calls the axis of Iran, Hezbollah and Syria amid the Turkish-Russian crisis.
However, the Israeli officials reassured Russia that, unlike Turkey, it will not intercept its jets, requiring instead a freedom of action for the Israeli planes in the Syrian airspace under the pretext of fighting the transportation of arms to Hezbollah and preventing the Shiite party from carrying out attacks against Israel in the Golan Height and Galilee.
