US Senator Jeanne Shaheen submits Senate request to exempt Lebanon from Caesar Act sanctions

The state-run National News Agency reported on Tuesday that US New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen has submitted an unprecedented request to the US Senate, hereby demanding the exemption of Lebanon from the Caesar Act's sanctions, as announced by Lebanese-American Lawyer Celine Atallah.

The agency added that the request was also signed by Senators Chris Murphy and Tim Kaine.
