Saudi Arabia, UAE stress that Lebanon must not be a staging ground for any terrorist acts
In a joint statement issued at the conclusion of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to the United Arab Emirates, the two Arab nations stressed on Wednesday the need to carry out comprehensive political and economic reforms to ensure that Lebanon could overcome its crises.
 
On another note, they also stressed on the necessity of restricting arms to the legitimate state institutions, and that Lebanon would not be a staging ground for any terrorist acts and a foster for organizations and groups that target the region’s security and stability.
