Price of Euro at its lowest level against US dollar since 2017

The Euro exchange rate hit its lowest level against the US dollar in five years, at a time when the US currency is benefiting from its safe haven status amid economic turmoil and while the US Federal Reserve is raising interest rates.

The unified European currency exchange rate fell to $1,0588, its lowest since April 2017.
