Lithuania passes law prohibiting import of Russian gas
A law prohibiting the import of Russian gas has been passed by the Lithuanian parliament as part of Vilnius' efforts to lessen its reliance on Moscow for energy ever since Russian forces started their invasion of Ukraine.

The Baltic nation of Lithuania, which is a part of both the European Union and NATO, stopped importing Russian gas through pipelines or liquefied natural gas terminals in the spring.
