Talks to revive the Iran nuclear agreement came to a halt.

Josep Borrell, the head of foreign policy for the European Union, announced the agreement's demise, explaining that "the Iranians' recent proposals were not useful because we were close to reaching an agreement, and then new proposals came, and the political environment was not the most favorable.”
