British Defense Minister Grant Shapps said today [Tuesday] in a report on the conflict in Gaza that Britain is considering sending the military support ship RFA Lyme Bay to provide humanitarian and medical aid in the Middle East. 

He added in statements to members of the House of Commons, "I am considering the possibility of supporting the warship RFA Lyme Bay to provide medical and humanitarian assistance."
