Friendship between humans and animals has been happening since the dawn of humanity, but sometimes a friendship comes along that is so unusual you just have to see it to believe it, and when you see it, it’ll leave you in a state of shock and awe.
The video below depicts a unique form of close friendship between a young boy and a stingray, where the maritime animal lets the boy enjoy feeding him out of his hand.
Stingrays come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, making up the eight families of stingray species. They are rarely aggressive, but some species do have a poisonous stinger that is most often used in defense in case of threat, mostly from humans when they accidentally step on one.
