REPORT: Video shows London police dancing at Notting Hill carnival
   
An amateur video showing police officers entertaining revelers at London's Notting Hill carnival with an impromptu dance performance has become a viral hit.              

The video, filmed on 25 August, shows the officers dancing one after the other and sitting down on the floor to "row" in unison - to the delight of the crowds.                             

Late on Tuesday, it had clocked up almost half a million hits.             

The man who posted the video told AP Television he put the footage online in the hope of strengthening the relationship between police and the public.               

The Notting Hill carnival, which began in 1966, is the largest annual street celebration of its kind in Europe.
