REPORT: Elefteriades raises hand in victory as he walks out of Lebanon's Justice Palace

Lebanese-Greek artist Michel Elefteriades raised his hand in a show of victory as he walked out of the Palace of Justice on Monday. This comes after a decision to defer the first session of the trial in the lawsuit filed against him by the head of the Lebanese Forces Samir Geagea was implemented.

Geagea filed the lawsuit after Elefteriades dubbed him “a criminal” during a talk show broadcast on ‘Sawt El Mada’ radio station.

The trial’s first session, held under the chairmanship of Judge Charbel Abou Samra, was deferred to a date to be determined later.
