REPORT: The United Kingdom revokes citizenship of British jihadists

British jihadists fighting in Syria are having their citizenship stripped to prevent their return to the UK. This according to Home Secretary Theresa May who annulled the passports of 20 people this year.

This measure is mostly being used against those with dual citizenship, according to the Bureau of Investigative Journalism.

Security services are concerned that Syrian jihadists are bringing violent extremism back to the UK.
