REPORT: Lebanese man kills his sister in 'honor crime' in Nabatieh

A Lebanese citizen identified as Salwa Ahmad, 32, was killed on Monday inside her house in the town of Kfarwa, in Nabatieh, south Lebanon.

The Internal Security Forces Information Bureau managed to reveal the identity of the murderer, who was identified as 24-year-old Ziad Ahmad, the victim’s brother.

The suspect initially claimed that the incident was an accident, but then admitted that he “intentionally killed his sister after reading a text message on her phone indicating immoral behavior.”
