Foucher: Lebanon might lose Intl donors grants if Cabinet delay persists
France’s ambassador to Lebanon Bruno Foucher stressed on Friday that Lebanon needs to form a government as soon as possible so it can benefit from the grants of International donor conferences held earlier this year.

Foucher was referring to the Rome II conference that was held to support Lebanon’s security apparatuses, as well as the Brussels conference that collected aid to Lebanon’s education sector.

On another note, Foucher said that the UNIFIL is doing an excellent job on the Lebanese southern border.

“We trust the work of the UNIFIL in restoring calm to the southern border,” he added.
