REPORT: LBCI airs testimonies of the injured in Achrafieh bombing

The persons injured in Achrafieh’s terrorist bombing that killed Lebanese Internal Security Forces Information Bureau Director Wissam al-Hassan and many others, are still receiving treatment in the area’s different hospitals. Over 100 injured poured in to the hospitals in Ashrafieh on Friday and LBCI aired testimonies of some of the injured.

One of the wounded said that while she was working in a building near the site of the explosion, she felt shards of broken glass flying at her. “My employer helped me reach the hospital on foot”, she said.

In turn, another woman injured by the blast said that she was at home when the blast occurred. “When parts of the house began collapsing, I ran to search for my mother up until I found her”, she said, stressing that two explosions occurred, not one as had been reported earlier.
