REPORT: Cadbury Adams to close its Chiclets factory in Lebanon

Fifty years after opening its factory in Zouk Mikael to produce Chiclets, a brand of candy coated chewing gum; the Cadbury Adams Company decided to close its factory in Lebanon, informing the Labor Ministry thereafter that it will halt all production.

The company said that it will exert its utmost efforts to ensure the rights of its employees; adding that it will not refrain from its decision.

This report will shed light on the Cadbury Adams' factory in Lebanon, highlighting the fact that more than 100 employees will become jobless after its closure.
