Will ex-PM Hariri resume role in politics?

Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri confirmed to a Lebanese political figure who recently visited him in the United Arab Emirates that he has no immediate plans to return to Lebanon.

Hariri stressed that "he is not enthusiastic about getting back into Lebanese political affairs," hinting that he has turned the page on his political life.

Hariri also mentioned a ‘disagreement’ in the family, noting that his relationship with his aunt, former deputy Bahia Hariri, is not as good as it once was and that he disagrees with her son Ahmad over how he handled several files.
