Minimum wage expected to double: Insights from syndicate sources

According to syndicate sources speaking to "Nidaa Al-Watan," the minimum wage is expected to be doubled, from LBP 9 million to LBP 18 million or LBP 20 million.

The Index Committee was expected to announce an increase in salaries and school grants to private sector employees on Tuesday, as announced by the Minister of Labor in the caretaker government, Moustafa Bayram.
