Future MP Ammar Houry told Acharq al-Awsat newspaper on Tuesday that he informed the security apparatuses that he received threatening messages on his phone from local and international numbers.

He also noted that an organized campaign was launched on social media platforms aiming at fomenting strife and jeopardizing coexistence among Lebanese people.  

According to the Daily, MP Houry refused to accuse any party pending the results of the investigations launched by the security apparatuses.


Sources told al-Anbaa newspaper on Tuesday that a delegation of March 14 alliance is holding meetings that were kept under wraps in order to put a new strategy for the alliance.

Same sources added that members of the delegation tackled the presidential elections, the formation of a new government and Hezbollah military intervention in Syria.

According to the Daily, March 14 alliance is set to launch a political and diplomatic campaign in order to implement resolutions 1559 and 1701 and to boycott Hezbollah.
