Former PM Hariri holds talks with Future bloc leader Siniora in KSA

Sources told An-Nahar daily on Tuesday that former Prime Minister Saad Hariri is holding talks in Riyadh with Future bloc leader Fouad Siniora who headed to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia accompanied with Future bloc MP Nohad Al Machnouk.

Discussions will also tackle the cabinet formation process as well as local and regional developments.

Hezbollah arrested terrorists but did not hand them over to LAF- sources

A meeting was held on Monday between caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati and Lebanese Army Commander General Jean Qahwaji with talks featuring high on the security situation and the military institution's work.

This as, security sources told Al-Joumhouria newspaper that Hezbollah and the Amal Movement have prepared security plans in order to pursue takfiri groups, mainly after a series of explosions had targeted the Beirut Southern Suburbs and the Bekaa regions.

The sources said the majority of the terrorist cells are linked to Al Qaeda, noting that Hezbollah has arrested a number of terrorists but did not hand them over to the Lebanese army.

Report that Hezbollah dismantled terrorist cell in Dahieh is false- sources

"IRNA news agency's report claiming that Hezbollah had dismantled a cell of The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in the Beirut Southern Suburbs, is false," sources told Al-Akhbar daily on Tuesday.

"The report was taken from Fars News Agency which had relayed it from a website that usually publishes inaccurate news," the sources added.

Sources also told the newspaper that no detentions took place in the Beirut Southern Suburbs during the last few weeks.

Future bloc MP al-Jarrah says there is regional decision to hurdle cabinet formation

Future bloc MP Jamal al-Jarrah told Asharq al-Awsat newspaper that his bloc has facilitated the cabinet formation process, and said: "There is seemingly a regional decision to hurdle this process".

MP al-Jarrah said the issue may be settled within the next 24 hours, based on the outcome of the meetings to be held between the concerned parties in the next few hours.

LAF Intelligence pursuing terrorists across Lebanon- sources

Security sources told Al-Joumhouria daily that the Army Intelligence is currently pursuing Lebanese, Palestinian and Syrian nationals in the Bekaa, southern regions and Beirut's Southern Suburbs.

"The Army Intelligence seeks to also determine the whereabouts of suspects, believed to be linked to terrorist organizations," the sources said.

The same sources added that dozens of young men, having links with Ahmad al-Assir and hailing from the city of Sidon and the Ain El-Helwe refugee camp, remain at large since the latest clashes that took place in Abra.
