Sources told al-Hayat newspaper on Tuesday that Kataeb leader Amine Gemayel notified Lebanese Forces MP Strida Geagea that the Kataeb party supports the LF leader Samir Geagea's presidential bid.
The same sources added that MP Walid Jumblatt hailed Geagea's presidential program, noting however, that he will announce today (Tuesday) his full support for the candidacy of MP Henri Helou for the presidential race.
Sources told al-Hayat newspaper on Tuesday that MP Michel Aoun will tackle during the weekly meeting of the Change and Reform bloc today (Tuesday) the parliamentary session tasked with electing a new president.
The same sources added that March 8 camp is set to cast a white ballot during the session, while March 14 camp is set to vote for Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea.
