The following are summaries of today's major stories published in the Arabic press. LBCI does not edit press digest articles for content, giving English-language readers insight into the various views expressed in newspapers across the Arab world.

Security sources stated on Saturday that wanted fugitive Chady Al-Mawlawi is no longer at the Ain El-Helwe refugee camp, stressing that he infiltrated out of the camp in the same way he entered to it.

Meanwhile, sources at the camp denied via Al-Akhbar newspaper that Al-Mawlawi had left; pointing out that he is still at the said camp.

Sources stated that members of the Islamic State were aiming to kidnap more Lebanese troops during the Tallet Al-Hamra attack in a bid to exert pressure on the cabinet to agree on a swap deal that ensures the release of Islamist inmates from the Roumieh prison.

Meanwhile, military sources told Al-Akhbar newspaper that the group wanted to take control over the said base; however, noted that Lebanese Armed Forces foiled their attempt.

A Palestinian source denied on Saturday that a delegation presented to Lebanese officials a list that has the names of terrorists and fugitives at the Ain El-Helwe refugee camp.

In this regard, the source told As-Safir newspaper that the delegation was asked about fugitives Chady Al-Mawlawi and Oussama Mansour, adding that necessary measures are being implemented to hand the named men to security forces.

Meanwhile, a Lebanese source told As-Safir newspaper that the Palestinian delegation denied the presence of the said fugitives at the refugee camp, voicing concern over any possible bloodshed at the camp if Al-Mawlawi and Mansour are handed over to Lebanese authorities.
