Ice skating enthusiasts took advantage of a cold front in Netherlands that has frozen canals, on Friday (March 2).
Skaters slid along icy canals in Amsterdam and Delft. One man in Delft was seen gliding on ice on a modified skateboard.
The national Dutch weather institute KNMI issued two code yellow warnings for snow and icy road, with forecast of temperatures dropping below minus 15 degrees Celsius on Friday, local media reported.
KNMI predicted ice will begin to thaw on Sunday (March 4).
