Lapid says Hezbollah impediment to deal between Israel and Lebanon over maritime borders
New Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid saw on Sunday saw Hezbollah as an impediment to a deal between Lebanon and Israel on the demarcation of their maritime borders.

Lapid considered that Hezbollah "continues on the path of terrorism and undermines Lebanon's ability to reach an agreement on maritime borders."

He stressed that Israel will continue to protect itself, its citizens and its interests.

This announcement came a day after the Israeli army intercepted three drones launched by Hezbollah heading toward the Karish gas field.
